González-Sinde Reig, Ángeles

Ángeles González-Sinde was born in Madrid in 1965 into a family of people dedicated to cinema. As a child she really liked going to school and even today her classmates are still her friends. She later studied classical philology and cinema at different Spanish and foreign universities. She has written scripts for films and television series and has won two Goya awards. She loves writing for children because they are freer and wiser than older people. She has two very funny daughters who inspire many stories about her. She has also written children's and adult theater. She was president of the Film Academy and, between 2009-2011, Minister of Culture. She likes nothing more than meeting the child readers who follow the adventures of Rosande, whose stories are published in this same collection. In this work, Ángeles González-Sinde coincides again with the painter and engraver based in Madrid, Joseba Díez-Iriondo. Both have previously collaborated on the “Confinacuentos” project, a video-text published in El País.
