Jonguitud Acosta, Paulette

Paulette Jonguitud Acosta was born in Mexico City in 1978. She studied at Colegio Madrid, Communication at the Universidad Iberoamericana, Photography at the Active School of Photography and Literary Creation at the SOGEM Writers School. She was a scholarship recipient from the Foundation for Mexican Letters in the area of ​​Narrative during the periods 2007-2008 and 2008-2009. She obtained Special Mention in the Juan Rulfo First Novel Award 2009 for the book Moho published in 2010 by the Tierra Adentro Editorial Fund. She was also a scholarship recipient of the Young Creators Program of the National Fund for Culture and the Arts in the area of ​​Novels in the period 2010-2011. She also collaborated on the children's book Mirrors, Mocos, Cucarachas and other curious potions, SM 2011. She has written two children's books, a story book, a play and is currently working on her second novel.
