Lalana Josa, Fernando

Fernando Lalana was born in Zaragoza in 1958 and, although he planned to be an architect and then studied Law, his only profession has been that of a writer. He has published more than 150 books, in addition to several plays, and has won almost all the awards for Spanish children's and young adult literature, from the Gran Angular to the Premio Edebé, including the National Award, which he won for Morirás en Chafarinas, a novel that was made into a film by director Pedro Olea with great success, or the Cervantes Chico for his entire career. And he continues writing, always only the works that amuse him, with the irony and wit that are characteristic of him.
