Lozano Carbayo, Pilar

Born in 1953 in Benavente, province of Zamora, she spent her childhood and youth in Sabadell and currently resides in Madrid. She has a degree in Information Sciences and a Diploma in Teaching from EGB, she has developed her professional career as a journalist in specialized magazines and economic press. In the field of children's literature she has obtained the 2005 Barco de Vapor award for Children's Literature for Siete Reporters and a Newspaper, the Edebé of Children's Literature 2008 for It is not so easy to be a child, the Lazarillo award for Children's Literature 2010 for Marco Polo was not alone, a work of which she is co-author with Alejandro Rodríguez and the Apel.les Mestres de Illustration award for Gustavo's travels that has illustrated Francesc Rovira.
