Ruiz de Gopegui Durán, Belén

Belén Gopegui (Madrid, 1963) is one of the leading authors in the narrative of the last twenty years in Spain. Although she has a degree in Law and a PhD in Humanities, what she likes most in the world is writing. In 1993 she published her first novel, The Scale of Maps, which garnered enormous success from critics and the public. Her narrative is characterized by attention to language and the portrait of the reality that we have had to live. Belén Gopegui is the author of novels, plays and several of her books have been adapted to film, and at the request of her son and daughter she began to write very careful texts that also interest boys and girls. This is her first collaboration with the EDEBÉ publishing house, I'm bored, a work that, with its apparent simplicity, captivates us and makes us rethink many things about our daily lives.
