Carlos Vila Sexto (A Coruña, 1977) has always loved basketball. When he wasn’t selected for his school team at the age of thirteen, he decided to start his own. And guess what? They won the league that year. Since then, we haven’t seen him much on the basketball courts, but we have seen him on TV — where he has created series such as Los misterios de Laura and Si es martes… esto es un asesinato (If it’s Tuesday… this is murder) — and in bookshops, thanks to stories such as Hugo y el ladrón fantasma (Hugo and the Phantom Thief), Morir no es nada del otro mundo (Dying is Not a Big Deal), Sonámbulos (Sleepwalkers), Odio a los fantasmas (I Hate Ghosts) and the trilogy Las Crónicas del Viajante (The Traveller’s Chronicles), all published by Edebé.
