EL AMOR DE ELI

When Arnau returns to the seaside town of Sant Salvador for the summer, he meets Eli, a girl marked by secrets she has never fully escaped. Their connection is immediate, tender, and hopeful—everything a first love should be. But Eli carries the shadow of an abusive, much older man who once manipulated and pursued her, a toxic relationship that still grips her despite the harm it caused. When this man unexpectedly reappears in the village, the fragile balance of Eli and Arnau's summer romance breaks and both teenagers are forced to face truths they barely understand.

The story leaps forward twenty years. Arnau, now an acclaimed film director, and Eli, married with a daughter, cross paths again. What begins as a casual encounter becomes a deliberate attempt to revisit the unfinished story of that intense summer.

Through a structure that moves from Arnau's perspective, to Eli's, and finally to a shared reconstruction, the novel blends emotional realism with a psychological thriller's tension.
