Mallorquí, César

César Mallorquí (Barcelona, ​​1953) studied Journalism at the Complutense University of Madrid and collaborated, among other publications, in the famous magazine La Codorniz. He also worked for many years in advertising as a creative, until in the early nineties he decided to dedicate himself to what was always his vocation: literature. He has won numerous awards, such as the EDEBÉ on four occasions, the Gran Angular 2000, the National award for Narrative Culture Viva 2007, the Hache award 2010 or the National award for Young Adult Literature 2013 for his extraordinary novel Bowen's Island. In 2015 he won the Cervantes Chico award in recognition of his literary career.
