Biography
Mallorquí, César

César Mallorquí (Barcelona, 1953). He studied journalism at the Complutense University of Madrid and worked in La Codorniz and for the radio station Cadena SER. He also worked as a creative in an advertising agency for many years. At the beginning of the 90’s he started his literary career and, since then, he has obtained several awards such as Alberto Magno award 1992, UPC award 1995, Gigamesh award 1996, EDEBÉ award 1996, 2002, 2012, Gran Angular 2001, White Raven 2013, and Ibby Honor list as well as the Spanish National Children and
Young Adult Award, 2013. In 2015 his prolific career was recognized with the Cervantes Chico Award.
