On Kola Island, the drought had meant that money had ceased to be of value. Everything was measured against water which was used to buy and sell. There, young orphan Omar receives from the hands of a strange messenger in the form of a bear, an almost undecipherable letter in which the famous Treasure of Kola is mentioned. And so, that day, a bear, a messenger and a boy set out on an adventure that will take them through the four regions of Kola Island, hardly suspecting that they are being followed by a menacing shadow.
Edna López nace en 1977 en Los Realejos, al norte de Tenerife. En 1995 se traslada a la ciudad de San Cristóbal de La Laguna para realizar estudios de Derecho. Tras licenciarse en el año 2000, ejerce durante algunos años como abogada. Posteriormente comienza a trabajar como asesora legal, lo cual compagina con su gran afición literaria. Actualmente ultima estudios universitarios en la licenciatura de Antropología Social y Cultural. Su primera novela, En busca del Tesoro de Kola, comienza a gestarse en el año 2008, inspirada en los legendarios discos de Phaistos. El libro, que recoge parte de los grabados originales de esta reliquia arqueológica a modo de enigmático lenguaje, está orientado a satisfacer la despierta curiosidad de los jóvenes lectores por la aventura, el misterio y el conocimiento.
