That year, during Xmas time, no one received presents. Neither children nor adults. Neither did those who had behaved badly or those who had behaved very well. The Magic gift-bearers* (call it as you like depending on your tradition: Santa Claus, Saint Nicholas, La Befana, The Three Wise Men, Sinterklaas, Doz Moroz….) never appeared. Not during the parades or festivals, nor during the magic night. Neither by land, nor by sea, nor by air.
Many theories arose but not a single one found out the real reason. Would you like to find out what happened? You'll have to read the book. You won't believe it!
*The book uses the Three Wise Men as it is the Spanish tradition but it can be easily substituted by the one in your country. The plot and the message work all the same.

Antonio Lozano (Barcelona, 1974) achieved a degree in Communication Sciences from the Autonomous University of Barcelona and completed a Doctorate in Humanities at the Pompeu Fabra University (Barcelona). Between 1997 and 2008 he was responsible for sections of the magazine Qué Leer. He currently works as a freelance literary journalist in Qué Leer, in the Cultura/s supplement and the Magazine of the newspaper La Vanguardia, and in the magazines Woman and Go Mag. He is also the author of several children’s books and is part of the jury of the RBA International Black Novel award, label for which he created a blog on the crime genre called «I read it very black.»
