TREINTA CENTÍMETROS

An eleven-year-old boy, Marcos, does not dare to say what he thinks and suffers from this inability to show what he feels. The teacher has asked Marcos to do a project about achondroplasia, i.e. dwarfism, with two classmates with whom he doesn't get along very well. Fanny and Sussi are the best in grades but are selfish, cruel and even liars. Unable to refuse, he is given the task to find and interview a person who suffers from this growth disorder in order to find out about the daily problems they encounter. Fortunately, Marcos' teacher has a nephew called Damián who has achondroplasia. Damián and Marcos immediately form a bond of friendship that will teach many things about the disease, but more importantly, about the courage and strength of those who suffer from it and about what is really important in life, the value of generosity and friendship.
