Biography
Osés, Beatriz
Beatriz Osés (Madrid, 1972). Writer, literature teacher and journalist. She is the author of Erik Vogler's police saga, composed of eight titles that precede Albert Zimmer's trilogy. This mystery collection, published in Edebé, has been translated into French, Russian, Polish, Iranian and Turkish. Osés has been awarded the Lazarillo award for Cuentos como Pulgas, the Ciudad de Orihuela Poetry award for El secreto del oso anthillero, with the La Brújula award for El tumbanubes, with the Premio Edebé of Children's Literature for Soy una walnut and with the Barco de Vapor Award for The Letter Writers and Un Bosque en el Aire. Her book El columpio de Madame Brochet was a finalist for the National award for Children's and Young People's Literature. As a teacher, she has received the Joaquín Sama awards for educational innovation and the Francisco Giner de los Ríos awards for improving educational quality.
