Care Santos (Mataró, Barcelona, ​​1970) studied Law but has always worked as a journalist in national and foreign media. She is the author of more than a dozen novels and short stories aimed - although not exclusively - at young people. Her works have been translated into German and Italian, as well as Basque. She has won the Ateneo Joven de Sevilla 1998 awards (with the novel Trigal con cuervos) and the Gran Angular for books for young people in Catalan (with Hot Dogs in 2000). Currently, she works as a literary critic in various media.
