Madrid, Juan
Juan Madrid (Málaga, 1947) is a novelist, journalist and film and television scriptwriter. His vocation and profession is therefore writing, although he graduated in Contemporary History from the University of Salamanca. His work enjoys enormous prestige in all areas, but he is especially considered the greatest exponent of the new crime novel. He has received important literary awards, his novels have been translated into more than fifteen languages and his novels are frequently adapted to film.
