Gómez Cerdá, Alfredo
<b>Alfredo Gómez Cerdá </b>was born in Madrid. His first steps were into the theatre. In 1982 he discovered children's literature and felt powerfully attracted to it. Since then he has published over a hundred books for different targets from young readers to adults. He has received some awards: Premio Altea, Lazarillo, El Barco de Vapor, Il Paese dei Bambini (in Italy), ASSITEJ-España (theatre), Fray Luis de León, Gran Angular, Ala Delta, White Raven (in 6 occasions), Premio Hache, Anaya, Cuatrogatos (Miami). In 2008 he received the Cervantes Chico Award for his career in children¡s literature. and in 2009 won the Spanish National Children’s literature Award.<br/> <br/> In 2018, he is the Spanish candidate for the most prestigious international awards: “Hans Christian Andersen” and ALMA (Astrid Lindgren Memorial Award) www.almezzer.com<br/> <br/> His books have been published in Europe (France, Italy Germany, Portugal, Denmark), Asia (Turkey, Lebanon, China, Korea, Japan) and America (Canada, United States, Mexico, Colombia, Puerto Rico, Brazil, Peru, Ecuador, Chile, Argentina).
