Born in Plasencia in 1975, Juan Ramón Santos has a degree in Law and Political Science, and is the author of novels, short stories and books of poetry. Founder of the Asociación Cultural Alcancía, since 2005 he coordinates with Nicanor Gil the Aula de Literatura (Literature Workshop) “José Antonio Gabriel y Galán”, in Plasencia, and between 2015 and 2019 he was president of the Asociación de Escritores Extremeños (Extremadura Writers Association).
