Marta Gene Camps was attracted to stories since she was little. For this reason, she decided to study Audiovisual Communication at the Pompeu Fabra University of Barcelona, ​​the city where she was born. Her love for journalism transformed into a true passion for cinema, which led her to pursue a Master's Degree in Film Direction at the American Film Institute in Los Angeles, with a Fulbright scholarship. During this time, she directed five short films, two of which she was also the screenwriter.
